Overview
La Maison Monaco is a luxury watch and jewelry retailer with boutiques across Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec City. We built a headless e-commerce platform that connects a Next.js storefront to WooCommerce for product management, Sanity for content, and Clover for payment processing - delivering a premium digital experience that matches their in-store luxury standard.
The Challenge
The brand needed an online presence worthy of selling $10,000+ timepieces. Off-the-shelf themes couldn't deliver the performance, design control, or integration depth required - they needed a custom storefront that connected their existing WooCommerce catalog, supported bilingual content (English/French), handled secure payments with 3D Secure, and integrated shipping, insurance, and marketing tools.
The Solution
We built a fully headless architecture with Next.js on the frontend and WooCommerce as the product backend. Sanity CMS powers all editorial content with bilingual support. Clover handles payment processing with 3DS fraud protection. FedEx provides real-time shipping rates. Route adds package insurance. Klaviyo drives email marketing with abandoned cart recovery. And we built a Claude-powered blog automation pipeline that generates and publishes SEO content three times per week - in both languages.
